Since the artisans have to select the purest fibres, spin the materials, twist and then weave the threads, it’s no wonder that it often takes a whole day to make one metre of fabric. The ambition is to protect the rarest skills and the ethical environmental practices associated with them. By promoting the transmission of these unique skills, we help prevent this wealth from disappearing.
