The Linwood brand works with traditional and newly discovered materials and is constantly finding new ways to innovate, developing sustainable and ecologically responsible fabrics that are as beautiful as they are practical. Founded in 1994, Linwood is a family business based in Hampshire, where they work with people they know and trust, producing many of our collections in Britain with manufacturers with generations of experience.
The artistic vision is individualistic and so they don’t offer a specific Linwood look. Instead, every collection they produce – whether it’s pleasing small-scale prints or typically English plants; plain linen and casual fabrics or sumptuous printed velvets – is driven by a desire to captivate and enchant, bringing a playful and distinctive style to all kinds of interiors.

Patterned velvet has dominated recent years, but the Relaxed Luxury trend is steering interiors towards solid tones. As seen on the A/W 2025 catwalks, velvet now feels more laid back, with mood-defining plains becoming the must-have material for upholstery, curtains, and accessories.
