Founded in 1935, Maison Pierre Frey designs and produces fabrics inspired by classical and contemporary art, always interpreting them in a very French style. This artistic sensibility led the company to acquire the textile companies Braquenié, Boussac, Fadini Borghi and Le Manach in the 1990s, enabling it to offer customers a variety of styles. Recently, it acquired the Thop London brand, world-renowned for producing silk-screened fabrics and wallpaper handmade in England.
Driven by the preservation of the market’s history, the Zuber company has been added to the list of brands in the Maison Pierre Frey group. Zuber is a century-old brand and factory that pioneered the creation of decorative wallpaper. Based in Alsace since 1797 in an old building, Zuber continues to print wallpaper to this day. This makes it the oldest wallpaper manufacturer in the world. The factory keeps documents in its archive dating back to the first half of the 19th century, as well as all the manufacturing tools.
