CMO Paris & Élitis
Presentation of the new collections
The Porto Showroom opened its doors to offer an exclusive event designed especially for professionals, where innovation meets practice in unique and dynamic presentations. It was a time to explore, inspire and live experiences with the brands’ teams.
On 18 March, the showroom offered exclusive presentations with the CMO Paris and Élitis teams. From fabrics, wallpaper, cushions and carpets, customers had the chance to find out more about the new collections involved in an environment full of beauty, inspiration and networking.

For neoclassical interior projects, the highlight is the Brera collection, which evokes printed velvets, fabrics that cover interiors with elegance, the large patterns add a theatrical touch with plays of matt and shine, and the small patterns coordinate for ultimate chic.
The collection sparkles with references to the neoclassical style, as if taken from a Milanese setting. The villas and secret places of the Porta Venezia neighbourhood lend their charm to resolutely ornamental creations. Reminiscent of the marble work of Italian palaces, they radiate a precious aura through geometric sparkles, refined combinations of sophistication and materials, embroidery and weaving.
The precious imitation silk taffeta punctuates this textile scene with its changing light.
On the other hand, the inspiration in Morocco with the Menara collection was notorious, the creations, inspired by Berber blankets, invite us to accentuate the presence of textiles in interiors through a heterogeneous mix of materials and designs.
You are invited to explore the Agafay desert in Morocco. From the dunes near Marrakech, a sunny, nomadic walk traces your bohemian route through the palm grove.
This collection features a mix of cheerful embroideries and textured fabrics, combining stripes and patterns in a harmonious display of warm colours, all reminiscent of authentic craftsmanship.
The big surprise of the day was the Faro collection. On the doorstep of the Algarve, this indoor and outdoor collection is inspired by Faro, where narrow streets and warm colours blend together. Proudly displaying its Moorish influences, it decorates our gardens and terraces with embroidered effects, geometric weaves, jacquards of large plant leaves and plains and rich, unchanging faux-plans.
Presentation of CMO Paris and Élitis accessories
The second part of the morning was dedicated to the marvellous accessories prepared for this year. Both CMO Paris and Élitis have opted for accessories to complement all kinds of interior styles. The novelty is the launch of carpets at CMO Paris, true works of art with contemporary and luxurious designs.
CMO Paris: Cocon Noir Throw
Élitis: Gabriel Cushion
The new Élitis cushion collection features twelve new items to suit all tastes. Highlights include Liberty and Hudson, which feature the softness of a linen chenille that meets ribbons in a couture contrast. Fun patterns are the highlight of Élitis’ accessories collection. The Paul and Galla cushions were the most appreciated for their combination of colours and perfect embroidery.
The rugs were the protagonists of this presentation. For 2025, Élitis has evolved in terms of production techniques by announcing the first hand-tufted collection. A highlight is Marcel, which features loop effects to weave its stars in 100 per cent wool. Passiflore is an exclusive rug that presents all the dreams of a lush imaginary forest under a starry sky. It is the true mirror of Élitis’ innovation in carpets.
CMO Paris is known for using natural fibres and artisanal techniques in all its products. The rugs are no exception and are true works of art. Made to order for you, these rugs occupy a unique place in the world of craftsmanship. Silk, Tibetan wool, Nepalese hemp, linen and even nettle share their best secrets in these exceptional creations.

Every year, Élitis launches innovative and exclusive collections for all types of interior projects, whether residential, hotel or commercial. This year was no exception and brought many technical novelties. The afternoon, accompanied by a marvellous tea o’clock, was spent with Élitis’ commercial director who explained each book, the creative process and its execution.
From wallpaper to wall coverings, panoramic or contract, all the items were presented with passion and took customers into the world of creativity. A highlight was the Maestria collection, which presents the essence of urban chic, where the raw meets the refined and where plant material is juxtaposed with materials created by an artist. Horizontal and vertical lines arranged in clear squares are emphasised with gold, silver and copper on a plaster base.
Le jardin d’Aloès is an innovative collection made up of 3D acoustic coverings that were first sculpted in the workshop, at full scale and 1/2 scale respectively, to preserve the beautiful imperfections of handmade design. Linen is combined with chenille and suedette in a series of references, adding a play of textures to the volumes.

Customers who love minimalist style and natural materials know that CMO Paris is a pioneer in creating elegant wall coverings made from natural fibres. The new collections, made up of five different books, present novelties in their composition and stunning designs.
Wild Nature Wallcovering is a true ode to nature. Water lilies, corn and wood brilliantly reveal the preciousness of their fibres in enchanting creations.
How can we ignore the delicacy of this marquetry, with its nuanced, sometimes graduated and metallic tones, this incredible weave of wood and this water lily in a herbarium?
Entirely cut out and meticulously assembled or woven by hand, these unique fibres form an exceptional composition with harmonies made possible by venerable know-how.
Raffia Walcovering 4, a best-seller by nature, explores new techniques and designs. From embroidery and plant motifs to hand-dyed fringes and an unprecedented union with papyrus, raffia has opened up spectacular paths in terms of effects and designs in the hands of remarkable craftsmen.
On the fringes of art, raffia explores new techniques in these breathtaking scenes. Worked with techniques that testify to a unique dexterity, it offers the eye its authentic prowess.

Alpaca, as the fabric collection is called, was the natural fibre highlighted for the fabric collection. The absolute purity of the fibre reveals its light and character in ultra-sandy voiles and naturally chic fabrics, with hammered creations and precious wool textures.
At the height of ancestral know-how, the play of transparencies and depths brings with it the unique talent of the artisans who created them.
Here, it is alpaca that fulfils its destiny of softness through exceptional fabrics.
Exclusive dinner for network clients
To round off the day, Barreiros & Barreiros in partnership with Élitis provided a memorable dinner for all the clients who are part of the national network community.
In Vila Nova de Gaia, between the old Port wine warehouses and the breathtaking view over the city, a table was set for a special evening. The launch of the new Élitis collection transformed this historic setting into an encounter of textures, light and atmosphere.
Tablecloths and abat-jours in Élitis fabrics softened the atmosphere, while placemats and napkins, designed exclusively for the occasion, added a touch of refinement to the composition. At the Tivoli Kopke, dinner was led by the talents of three Michelin-starred chef Nacho Manzano, taking the experience to a new level of sophistication.
