Houlès: a French success story
In 1928, Félix Houlès and his son André opened their shop at 18 Rue Saint-Nicolas in Paris, in the heart of the Faubourg Saint-Antoine, the historic home of Parisian upholsterers and interior designers.
Initially a wholesaler of upholstery materials, Houlès quickly specialised in the creation and production of trimmings collections, a pioneering vision that propelled the brand to the status of a global benchmark.
As a creator and manufacturer of exclusive collections of trimmings, decorative hardware and furnishing fabrics, Houlès today inspires interior design professionals worldwide: architects, decorators, interior designers, design studios, upholsterers and specialist retailers.
