The Natural Rebel collection

With a nod to the traditions of tailoring and a rebellious streak of creativity, the Natural Rebel collection takes its inspiration from menswear, reinterpreting timeless fabrics and iconic garments for use in contemporary interiors. Eight classic tailoring fabrics, such as fine stripes, traditional houndstooth and relaxed corduroy, are transformed into versatile fabrics for upholstery, curtains and decorative furniture for contemporary interiors. Inspirations range from streetwear to haute couture.

Jim Thompson: Back to basics

2 Rue de Furstemberg

For 2025, Jim Thompson is returning to its essence: silk and ikat. The art of ‘Matmi or tie-dye is one of Thailand’s oldest textile traditions, based entirely on handmade techniques by skilled in-house artisans.

The Earthbound collection reinterprets Jim Thompson’s iconic hand-woven silk designs from the 1990s, using solution-dyed polypropylene yarns, guaranteeing exceptional performance against the elements in both indoor and outdoor environments.

No.9 Thompson‘s Spice Market collection is a heady mix of eclipse shapes, polygons, semicircles and quadrilaterals combine here into an intricate pattern – first printed in a striking colour palette that is both bold and harmonious, and then each shape within the design is outlined with an embroidery stitch. The confidence and sheer joy of these fabrics drive the mood of the collection and perfectly evoke the spirit of the brand.

Flair Collection: A journey along the Silk Road, designed by Gert Voorjans for Jim Thompson, the Flair collection captures the vibrant essence of the Silk Road. From Bangkok to Paris, the luxurious silk fabrics and intricate wallpapers celebrate the rich heritage of art, culture and human emotion.

“I passionately defend the French Art de Vivre, which I would summarise as: bringing beauty into your everyday life! The products we create and manufacture are designed to be experienced, touched and used, not just admired from afar.” – Patrick Frey | Fundador da Maison Pierre Frey
